Architect Hyder Ibrahim talks about working on Bibi Pak Daman, the 5-year renovation project of a shrine in Lahore, Pakistan, dedicated to 7th century saint Lady Ruqaiyya. Hyder also examines the project’s significance for for women, for the local community and for him personally. (WPKN September 7, 2026.)

Leafages by Hazel Kahan are made from real leaves, vines and tendrils interwoven with calligraphy, decorative pen and ink flourishes and imaginary Latin botanical names. Leafages contain a philosophical or inspirational thought, quotation or verse from sages, poets or religious texts. Some leafages are specially created for an individual, a couple or a family with words or leaves reflecting their personal narrative. They are available on the Leafages shop on Etsy although the supply is low right now, all my energies having been absorbed by the book I’ve been writing. where was he for the interview.?…nice voice…family of the Prophet Mohammed.?..plua an honoring of women..and with camels below ground that had opened up — the Lahore vortex….their journey…walking — the domes?? the two trees — advocating for the trees….drawings — where are they?/any photos?…the one by the shrine became affected..the shade..the tree existed as…..the INJUSTICE …indeed – PROJECT COMPLETE — 5 YEARS…OK..? What lives had he lived that he identified so deeply…pretty touching…yes
